Shoelosophy notes: Remember I told you that Judy Garland’s ruby slippers from The Wizard of Oz (1939) were up for auction. Well they have now found a home at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures. The big news is that the donors include Leo DiCaprio and Steven Spielberg . I can't seem to find the actual amount, but rumour is that it hit the £1 million.
