When I was in London a couple of years ago I wanted a hot chocolate fix from 'caffe NERO', so I started walking - those of you who know me, know that I can walk for hours in the streets mesmerised by my surroundings. I passed many different coffee franchises on the way that also offered great hot chocolates, which made me laugh at my stubbornness to find the perfect one. Finally a couple of hours later a smile came across my face and like Indiana Jones when he finds his treasure, I too had spotted my caffe NERO logo!.  I walked in and ordered my masterfully made beverage in a take away cup and then proudly gave my card to be stamped.  It made me feel like a local. I sat and enjoyed watching people that I have never seen before, nor will I ever see again, all in a hurry to get someplace. As I was ready to get up, I noticed that at the back of my caffe NERO card,  was an advert for the Leonardo DaVinci exhibition. Well I don’t believe in coincidences, so off I went... to get a glimpse of the life of an artist.

The video I got for you is just to remind you of an amazing mind, a great man and a person who could see the magic in the creation of man.

This quote moved me and allowed me to see the beauty of this man:

“If mans construction should appear to you to be a marvellous artifice.

Remember that it is nothing compared to the soul that inhabits such architecture,

and truly, be it what it may, it is a divine thing”.

As a great Da Vinci fan I can identify. What a genius of a human being. Sadly the video wouldn't play.

I love his sketches and anatomy thank you.  One of my least favourites used to be Mona Lisa, that was until I visited the Louvre and SAW her. She is unbelievable, her eyes follow you know matter which direction you move, unbelievable, she has to be seen to be truly understood.
