The best aspect of the flapper fashion revival is that even if it's only in your imagination, you can relive the golden age of the 1920s.

Nowadays it’s hard to just slip on a bias-cut silk gown or a fringed frock that glistens with every step, or some vintage Chanel jewels around your neck. In Karl Lagerfeld’s trends of ’20s and Art Deco design, he shows his typical choice of black and white photography for the editorial of Harper’s Bazaar which is taken into a fully-themed set.

His vision, styled by Andrew Richardson, may be of the twenties but it’s not exactly 100%: it’s perfectly elegant and refined.

Lagerfeld’s flapper girls are Arizona Muse, Joan Smalls and Saskia De Brauw, chaperoned by Travis Cannata, Malthe Madsen and Charlie Siem.
