Ladurée Creates Macaron Trees For Christmas

Renowned Parisian macaron maker Ladurée will create six pastry-based Christmas trees that will be on display at InterContinental Paris Le Grand Hotel for the sixth edition of the ‘Fashion Christmas Trees’ (‘Sapins Fashion’) event.

The exclusive hotel, located near the Paris Opera, gave carte blanche to the famous pastry house, which celebrates its 150th birthday this year.

Ladurée chose its iconic macarons to design the original trees. Each luxurious biscuit is covered with a “Gold and Cashmere” icing for a dazzling finish.

From December on, tourists and Intercontinental guests will be able to take a peek at these creations in the hotel lobby: the seasonal exhibition runs from December 1 to January 12, 2013
