Gucci, is extending its menswear offerings “Made to Measure”, an in store tailoring service in 11 cities worldwide. The wide range of exclusive, top-quality materials include nearly 82 textiles which allow for 178 possible combinations of colours and fabrics – wool, cashmere and mohair in classic shades of grey, navy blue and brown, combined with silk satin, velvet and baby lama for evening, with Diamante embroidery and jacquards featuring the House’s iconic horsebit in tone-on-tone combinations.

I think this is a brilliant bespoke and individual service that Gucci is offering.

You have to love James Franco in this smashing suite!

From starring in Spider Man, Milk and 127 Hours, James Franco has quickly become one of Hollywood's hottest faces but his style moment lies not in playing James Dean in 2001 but as the Face of Gucci's “Made to Measure” campaign.

The “Made to Measure” service is completed by a customized selection of shirts from which the client may choose a fit from a complete existing proposal of recognizable Gucci silhouettes in a wide range of fabrics and colours.

Furthermore, Gucci is also offering their services of a made to order service for signature men’s shoes, allowing for selection of the material, colour, width, as well as embossing of one’s initials. Gucci is offering the one-on-one "Made to Measure" experience in cities such as New York, Paris and Tokyo. To schedule a private, in-store fitting, you can call one of the 11 select boutiques directly, or contact Gucci at clientservice-europe@it.gucci.com.

James Franco stars in Gucci Made to Measure advertising campaign, named “All the World’s a Stage” and shot by Nathaniel Goldberg in Rome’s movie studio Cinecitta’.
