Inspired by my Street Scene post a few days ago, I decided to do a little research on this up and coming shoe designer, Burak Uyan. Uyan comes from serious fashion pedigree – born and raised in Germany, he worked at Givenchy and later at Giambattista Valli, where he headed up the design team. He launched his own shoe brand in 2009 and his glamorous designs have caught the eye of celebs like Cameron Diaz and Olivia Wilde, and designers such as Rodarte (he created the shoes for their spring/summer 2012 show).

Expect multi-strap sandals, bright colours and a play on different heel shapes, some which resemble lego. Then there are the materials – including exotics like karung, lizard and pony – which are all hand crafted into striking silhouettes for the feet. If you like to make a statement, then this brand is for you.

@Lilianne, the only way for now is online...I know Net-A-Porter has them.

Try this link  Net A Porter for the range.
