Maslow's Pyramid is a pretty accurate diagram of self discovery.  For me the only thing that’s missing is the importance of music.  He forgot to mention it in “Safety”, when a mother sings a lullaby to comfort a child. In “Love and Belonging” when a lover dedicates a song to express what he cannot. In “Esteem” when a song brings a smile to your day, and of course, in “Self Actualization” when the whole world vibrates in perfect harmony.

How my thought started...

The world vibrates on a certain melody and each of us is responsible for one note. When we are hitting our note we are at peace, the more people at peace the more the earth vibrates in perfect harmony. The secret to harmony is to concentrate on our one note and not to try to listen and fix your neighbors note.

Everyones purpose is different and just because somebody is playing the drum and not the flute their sound is just as amazing. We all have been given different instruments and we must allow everyone to express themselves as they choose, then our note can vibrate even higher, just like John Lennon when he sang this song……
