IKEA Opens a VIP Lounge at Charles De Gaulle

Bringing a classy difference to Paris, IKEA have opened a pop-up lounge at Charles de Gaulle airport for passengers to relax between flights.

The sophisticated lounge is situated in Terminal 3 and includes various spaces that have been laid out like bedrooms, inclusive of a living room and a play area for children.

This IKEA space is open to all passengers and covers a total of 220 square meters. Fatigued travellers with long layovers can enjoy a nap in the one of nine bedrooms, one of which has been designed to be accessible to disabled passengers.

A 50 square meter secure area is supervised by specialized staff and is designed as a play area for children. The pop-up lounge is the creation of Ubi Bene, in collaboration with KR Media and LDCecaux Airport Paris.

This is a superb concept!

This may make me hang out at airports little longer than necessary!
