Bright green is the colour of rebirth, creativity and inspiration, yet it is quite a difficult colour to get right when it comes to interiors. This year, Pantone has set us quite a challenge with the Colour of the Year, Greenery, but we feel it will be a knockout colour when incorporated correctly.

Here are some inspirational ideas for bringing Greenery into your own home:

Yes, it’s a bit whacky and a little tongue in cheek, but a bright green sofa can look surprisingly chic when set against a neutral palate. Just don’t go overboard with dressing your couch – keep it simple and sophisticated with one focal point.

2. Statement walls

Pick a small, out-of-the-way wall that is just begging for attention and paint on a new lick of bright green paint! You’ll instantly feel rejuvenated within a green space and when you’re quite done with it, you can always paint over it!

3. Cabinetry

For the die-hard fans who don’t mind a bit of permanence, go for bold with some green cabinets or vanities. Yes, it’s a tough look to pull off, but it certainly won’t age. Give it a try!

4. Plants

When all else fails, go for literal greenery with a few pot plants dotted here and there, or in large collections for a statement. Best of all, we’re all pretty much doing this one already!
