THE EMBROIDERY

In the 1990s, when Giuseppe Zanotti acquired manufacturing facilities in San Mauro Pascoli, Italy, one of the first things he did was to bring in teams of embroiderers to add their expertise to the shoemaking process. It was his innovation to treat shoes like couture, an attitude that persists to this day in every Giuseppe Zanotti Design shoe.

THE BAR BUCKLE

Simple yet utterly impactful, the horizontal metal bar buckle has become a hallmark of Giuseppe Zanotti’s innovation in luxury sneakers. Made from highly polished metal, it adds a glimmer of graphic to the classic sports silhouette. In the collections, the bar buckle motif comes as a single embellishment at the ankle or, for extra armorial attitude, in a pair, with the second buckle mounted across the upper or toe of the sneaker.
