What does fashion mean to you?

Fashion is an instrument of communication, not only for the wearer but also the designer’s mindset

What do your designs communicate about you as a brand?
My designs show versatility, elegance, the constant understanding of the changing world
and the importance of understated elegance.

What pressures have you experienced as an internationally acclaimed designer?
I feel people’s misconceptions of the person you are and how you interact with those around you.

Do you think S.A fashion designers push boundaries or play it safe in their designs?
Just like fashion overseas you have designers that deliver to the masses and those that push boundaries.

When it comes to your work ethic what would you change and why?
My inability to say no and my obsessive importance for perfection

What keeps you motivated ?
My clients, keeping up with the world around us and staying focused on my ultimate vision
for each garment that leaves my studio.

Which celebrity/star would you like to design for?
Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Blanchett and Florence- from Florence and the Macine.
