Gavin Rajah Resort Collection 2015 represents a transitional collection between seasons, intended for well-heeled travellers that frequent the most luxurious resorts in the world.

Inspired by the iconic images of the seventies; that evoke frivolity, this collection showcases nuances of a new unleashing of femininity in which women find their voice.

Pairing key pieces with the opulence of destination driven properties, the excessive styling of the collection is geared towards export, and this international footprint will include high end retailers across the globe. Think languid poolside lounging in dreamy, floral, feminine prints.

Collaborating with Europa Art Shoes, for his showcase at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Joburg 2015, the intricacy in garment construction, paramount to each piece, is accentuated with the artistry of footwear.

The collection is also collaborative with Milliner, Crystal Birch. Her sculptural, statement head pieces are a perfect complement to the fluidity in fabrication of Resort 2015.

This season, the collection is prefaced by signature swimwear – the brand is renowned for. The faded colours of photographs, matched with memories, together with floral scents of Summer bouquets to evoke nostalgia, are juxtaposed with retro geometric prints and metallics.

Designed with the discerning Rajah client in mind, the collection is both beautiful and assertive, strong and soft, but always outré femme.
