There isn't one cosmetic house that hasn't come up with a BB cream, which, for the uninitiated, stands for an all-in-one cream which replaces serum, moisturiser, primer, foundation and sunblock. It has replaced the lowly tinted moisturiser and can be worn as a foundation, depending on the amount of coverage required. That's all very well if you are twenty years old, but for those of us who aren't and are challenged to be naturally dewy-skinned after all the functions that have to be attended during party season, the BB leaves a lot to be desired...
So imagine my delight when I heard of Filorga's Anti-Ageing BB (the A-A part being music to my ears). Drawing on their world-renowned medical-aesthetic expertise, Filorga have come up with a skin-perfecting cream which also corrects and repairs, filling in lines and reducing inflammation.
Apparently it's also great for use after aesthetic procedures such as chemical peels, laser treatments as well as Botox and fillers, as it reduces any inflammation and stimulates tissue repair. It comes in two shades, Radiant Beige and Golden Sand...I'm using the latter as it gives me a lovely glow for summer. It goes on smoothly and my skin looks silky and pore-less, as if I've used a primer. It smells gorgeous too. Two pumps is all I need to achieve a really radiant complexion...great packaging allows no-mess no-fuss and it's a great size to pop into my travel bag. Also great for those of us who thought BB was short for Brigitte Bardot...
Filorga’s BB-Perfect is available in a 30ml tube retails for R550.00
It is available in selected Edgars and Red Square stores from December 2012.
