Fiat and Gucci have announced the debut of the Fiat 500 by Gucci advertising campaign, which will appear in newspapers and lifestyle magazines worldwide from May 2011. The launch follows the unveiling of the Fiat 500 customised by Gucci Creative Director Frida Giannini.
Who better to promote this powerhouse brand than one of the world’s top models of the decade, Russian beauty Natalya Sergeyevna Polevshchikova (Natasha Poly).
The ad’s creators say that, “Poly embodies the essence of travelling in style and living life at full speed”. The advertising campaign was shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott in Rome, and created by Giannini, with Poly wearing a Gucci one-of-a-kind black leather garment.
The 500 by Gucci will be presented as part of an exclusive preview in cities such as Paris, London and Tokyo before the June release of the car in Europe, while the rest of the world will have to wait until the end of 2011.
This car is funky, sexy and aspirational. I would definately buy it in white. I hope it comes to SA.
