Brooklyn Mall in conjunction with Elle Decoration, Weylandts and Con Amore hosted a fabulous readers event on the 10^th of May.

The morning started early but gratefully we we’re greeted with delish canapés from Lucky Bread and bubblies from Saronsberg to get us all warmed up.  The setting Weylandts décor store, was the perfect backdrop for speakers Laureen Rossouw (editor of Elle Decoration SA) and John Jacob (Interior Designer who designed the beautiful Luminance store in Hyde Park Corner) whom shared some great décor tips with us. 

After a scrumptious brunch we moved to the ultra trendy Con Amore décor store where we watched a demonstration on how to do a simple but striking table arrangement, using your favourite flower by one of Otto de Jager’s right-hand team members.

The day ended perfectly with treats from Salt Charcuterie and velvet wines from Saronsberg.  We couldn’t have asked for a better girls outing and would definitely recommend that you head to Brooklyn for one of the last two workshops happening on the 24^th of May as well as the 31^st.
