YSL is continuing the mythical journey that is OPIUM, with the launch of the "edgy and subversive" launch of Black Opium in SA in October, later this year.

The brand ambassador for the new fragrance Black Opium is none other than Edie Campbell, 2013 Model of the Year.  Edie rapidly captivated the top names in the fashion world with her British elegance and unique style. Spotted by Lucinda Chambers in 2009, Campbell began her career in front of the lens of Mario Testino who photographed her for a “Young London” feature for British Vogue, together with a group of up-and-coming young Londoners. She went on to be singled out on the catwalks of the most prestigious fashion houses. From the very beginning, photographers were attracted by her presence and her aura.
