Earth by Sivana Diamonds

A sparkling affair was held last week at a swanky venue in Rivonia, RoomFive, which saw some of the biggest celebs in SA attending. It was the big reveal of the new Earth Jewellery Range by Sivana Diamonds, which proved that “Diamonds are a girl’s best friend” as ladies drooled over the range on offer.

The Collection which pays tribute to our planet Earth incorporates rough diamonds with minimal polishing, smaller polished white and black diamonds as well as other precious stones. Being designed with today’s woman in mind, the elite range of jewellery possess ancient sophistication whilst being agelessly primal and contemporary at the same time.

The uniqueness of this range is that it’s produced in a school for previously disadvantaged individuals whom are interested in jewellery design and craftsmanship. Taught by renowned jewellery designer, Keith White personally, all of the Earth range pieces are created by the genius of Keith and his Students.

Keith White founded the Black & White Masters Apprenticeship which Sivana Diamonds strongly believes in and supports financially, aiming to create a new generation of masters in handcrafted jewellery design from South Africa.

I was lucky enough to meet these students and Keith White personally on Wednesday when they showcased their stunning creations at the launch. We also wined and dined with celebrities such as Louise Carver, Gert-Johan Coetzee, Shashi Naidoo, Lalla Hirayama, Tarina Patel, Sonia Booth and Jenna Dover to mention only a few.

The food, fashioned by “Powerchef”, Frantz, from Frantz Catering was magnificent to say the least, inspiring our tastebuds to sip on only the best cocktails and Champers on offer, all evening.

The Earth range is truly special and a must to invest in. A percentage of all Keith Whites products sold is reinvested into the Black & White initiative and what an aspiration one too.
