This year's Glamour Celebrity Stiletto Run was just as frightening as last years. 20 Celebs raced in their glam outfits and their treacherous heels...I was like a deer in head lights! To name but a few unsung heroes - Lalla Hirayama was calm, Pearl Thusi was strutting her stuff, Bonnie Henna was graceful, Bokang Montjane was radiant, Melina Lambrakis (from Europa Art and sponsor of R20 000 worth of prizes) was courageous, and then there was me...

After nerves and thoughts of falling and breaking my ankle, the race started. We ran and prayed at the same time...finally the race was over!! Pearl won and I came second:) I was so grateful that I didn't fall; and then I was suprised that I ran at all; and then I was happy that I came second.

I was spoilt with Page Jeans, Vogue Sunglasses, Superga laces, Revlon makeup, Camelot, Accessories & Carlton Hair vouchers and a R500 gift voucher from Europa Art shoes. After the emotional stress of competing I'm glad I did it.  Thank you Glamour for putting together a fun day in support of a great cause-Breast Cancer.
