What did you think of the fashion at the Style Awards?

I liked the African inspired looks-the African Queen ethnic look.

Do you think your collection will appeal to South African women?
Yes I do. South African women are feminine and sexy just like my collection. I want women to feel good when they wear Nina Jarebrink. 

Where is your collection produced?
In Portugal at the same factories as Givenchy, Prada, Burberry, Max Mara and Chloe. My scarves are produced in Italy.

What inspires your collection?
My mom used to design and sew my clothes for me when i was a child, using the best fabrics. I think the love of beautiful quality fabrics comes from her. My collections are always based on the inspiration of a fabric.

When will your collection be available:
The Nina Jarebrink current collection is available in high end boutiques in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Pretoria. The collection will be available at selected stockists from mid 2013.

I blog on what inspires me. I feel blogs should be interesting and should keep people entertained. Good content is important..it's actually hard work.

Favourite Designer:
YSL because his designs are elegant, feminine, strong and sexy. Big jewellery and hats are my favourite. I love the YSL safari look.

Nina's Collection:

The Nina Jarebrink Spring/Summer 2013 Collection draws inspiration from the natural elements.
The golden rays of the sun, the power of breaking waves & the wind running wild.  Nature unfolds through the materials such as incredible light reflecting chiffon that captures the colors of the ocean & the horizon, airy gold threaded silk vs. multi structured knitwear & gold-infused embroidered textures. Gleaming gold & crystal accessories fulfill this vision in true Jarebrink style. With an off-white base, the key colours in the collection are turquoise, beige, gold and fuchsia.
