I came across these paintings, which I really liked. So I thought I would share some of this stunning art and discover a little more about the artist. Tos Kostermans. This series is called Bold and Beautiful, it is all about life and humoristic situations. The style is very realistic and the colours are rich and alive.

Tos Kostermans, born in 1958 in Haarlem – The Netherlands.Tos paints at his workplaces in Amsterdam and Marbella. He describes his style as imprealism. His paintings are magically realistic with a touch of impressionism. They are cheerful, exuberant, but most of all rich in colour, yet natural with a sense of peace. This is particularly true for his portraits. His inspiration for the diverse subjects of his other paintings, comes from his surroundings and his own awareness of life around him. Tos Kostermans paints with combination of acrylics and oils.
