For Autumn/Winter 2015 Ben Sherman’s design team explored a classic dogtooth pattern, remaining the pattern and giving it a geometric overhaul. Through experimentation with scale, texture and colour, the team have created the sharp, fashion forward Geo Blocking collection.

Integral to the collection are the concepts of scale and tonal balance. The colour palette for the collection features two highlight colours; royal blue marl and washed blue, which sit alongside military and spearmint green tones and deep red colour pops.

Key pieces within this collection include a two-finger button-down cotton marl shirt with a bluff collar. On this item the geometric print has been integrated into the shirt as if colour-blocked. The brand’s Autumn/Winter update of the classic bomber jacket features a herringbone collar, cuffs and hem, welt pockets and internal chest pocket in the brand’s classic House Gingham.

A new introduction to the collection is a long sleeve sport knit sweater. The Nylon-Viscose blend gives a cooler hand feel and the sweater features a smaller iteration of the geometric pattern.

The Geo Blocking merchandise is available in Sandton City, Rosebank Mall, Menlyn Park Shopping Centres and at the V&A Waterfront.
