A GLAMours Affair

What do you get when a group of courageous, clever, stylish and smart women come together for an annual gathering to be honoured? Glamour Women of the Year Awards, of course!

The Glamour Awards is hosted by Glamour magazine every year to hand out different awards to honour extraordinary and inspirational women from a variety of fields, including entertainment, business, sports, music, science, medicine, education and politics. The platform allows them to share their amazing stories, abundant talents and fabulous spirits with us, so, never to be forgotten.

This years beautiful winners (both inside and out) are Mamela Nyamza, Vicky Crease & Maira Koutsoudakis, Jolynn Minnaar, Unathi Msengana, Filipa Carmo da Silva, Thulisile Madonsela, Lynette Ntuli, Sandra Millar and Kim Engelbrecht.

The prestigious event as always, kicks off with a scrumptious luncheon where Glamour’s fabulous Editor Pnina Fenster, guests of honour, and a few key members of the media are wined and dined, pre-awards ceremony. tashas in Village View, Bedfordview, played host to the GLAMourous ladies with quite a bit of excitement as patrons of the restaurant gave Thuli Madonsela a standing ovation for her brave and courageous spirit, upon entrance.

Revlon spoilt the ladies with both mani’s and mini makeovers to ensure they were red-carpet ready for the evenings' award ceremony. Delighted, the winner’s left with special goodie bags from both Revlon and Village View Shopping Centre.

Well done ladies, you truly are inspirational and deserving.
