Hyde Park Corner is an exclusive, sophisticated and stylish experience. We were treated to a trio of fabulous experiences and tastes.

Hyde Park Corner is situated in the cosmopolitan Hyde Park area in the heart of the northern suburbs of Johannesburg with easy access off major roads William Nicol Drive and Jan Smuts Avenue.  Established in 1969 and progressively updated and modernised over time, Hyde Park Corner offers a rich legacy of exclusivity and timeless European elegance to today's discerning tourist.

Our first stop was tashas le parc - one of my favourite stores, where we enjoyed High Tea in style with macaroons, english crustless egg mayo sandwiches, imported tea and bubbly:)

From their gelato to their freshly baked bread and their french patisserie tashas le parc delighted us with their bespoke offering and charm.

We were then spoilt with gorgeous goodie bags from Bulgari Fragrances, Metropolitain Cosmetics, Day Birger Et Mikkelsen fancy Table Serviettes and Prizes from Campo Marzio, Nu Metro and Dermalogica Sorbet.

The new Bulgari Le Gemme fragrances are packaged in bottles inspired by roman urns. There are six fragrances which include Lilaia (peridot), Ashlemah (amethyst), Amarena (tourmaline), Noorah (turquoise), Maravilla (citrine), and Calaluna (moonstone). All six were developed by perfumer Daniela Andrier. Difficult to choose which one I love best! You can find this stunning collection at the Hyde Park Cosmetics Galleria.

Our next stop was Day Birger Et Mikkelsen...

This is a Danish brand for women founded by Keld Mikkelsen, and is a luxurious mix of modern classics, embellished details, exquisite craftsmanship and inventive elements. A selection of essentials and eveningwear – with a contemporary take on everyday couture.
