In her daring, provocative, and insightful new work, I AM AN EMOTIONAL CREATURE: The Secret Life of Girls Around the World, internationally acclaimed playwright (The Vagina Monologues) and V-Day founder Eve Ensler writes fictional monologues and stories inspired by girls around the globe.
Among the girls voices are a young girl struggling to ask her boyfriend to wear a condom; an anorexic blogging as she eats less and less; a Masai girl from Kenya unwilling to endure female genital mutilation; a Chinese factory worker making Barbies; and a pregnant girl trying to decide if she should keep her baby.
